Application of cloud computing in information technology

Cloud Computing, also known as Virtual Server Computing, is a computer model that utilizes computer technology and is based on the Internet. The term “cloud” is metaphorical for the Internet (based on how it is arranged in the computer network diagram) and as a connotation of the complexity of the infrastructure contained within it.

Over the past few years, cloud computing has revolutionized the computing industry, fundamentally changing the way resources are used, the operating structure as well as the storage, distribution and information processing. Most of us have been using one or more cloud computing services in everyday life as well as in enterprise management.

In this computing model, all possibilities related to information technology are provided in the form of “services,” which allow users to access technology services from a certain provider “in the cloud “without the knowledge and experience of that technology, nor should it consider the infrastructure that serves that technology.

Application of cloud computing

Although only developed in the short time. However, cloud computing today has been a very popular application. There may be many applications, a software of high tech devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) you are using there are programs that are applying cloud computing that you do not notice. The applications of cloud computing that we most commonly encounter today are:

+ Apple Icloud: iPhone or iPad are two types of high-tech equipment that we usually use today. In these types of devices, Apple typically provides you with an account called Icloud. This account allows you to store all personal data for use on the device. Icloud is one of the products that come out of the cloud platform we use most often.

+ Google Driver: Google Driver is the storage space that Google provides for its user accounts. The storage space we use on Google drivers for daily data storage is also one of the applications of the cloud platform.

In addition to these two common examples, cloud computing today is widely used for the development of information technology.

What are the advantages of “cloud computing”?

So to deploy an application (for example, a website), you have to buy/rent one or more servers (rent servers), then rent servers in data centers. Center, cloud computing now allows you to reduce the buying/hiring process. You just need to state your requirements; the system will automatically pick up the idle resources to meet your requirements. Therefore, there are some basic benefits of cloud computing:

+ Using Dynamic Computing Resources: Resources are allocated to the business exactly what the business wants right away by mobilizing available free resources on the internet.

+ Reduction of costs: Enterprises will be able to cut costs to purchase, install and maintain resources. Instead, they just need to determine their needs and then ask the cloud service providers to proceed.

+ Reducing complexity in the structure of an enterprise: The outsourcing of the establishment and operation of the IT system will only focus on the production of specialized goods and reduce the complexity in structure.

+ Increase the use of computing resources: One of the main questions of resource investment (e.g., server, or big data) is how long it will run out of depreciation, whether I invest so profitable, have out the date on technology or not. When using cloud resources, you no longer have to worry about this.
